Who we are

A new company built on long-standing experience

Merrit Construction was established in 2024, but the people behind it have been pricing, managing and delivering construction projects for years. We started Merrit to do things properly: honest quotations, tight project management, and workmanship that doesn't need excuses.

Based in North Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, we work across Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield, York and Lincoln — and nationwide for the right project.

How we work

From site visit to handover

No vague estimates, no surprises. A clear four-stage process keeps you informed from the first walk-round to the final snag.

  1. 01

    Site visit

We visit, measure and listen. You talk us through what you need; we flag risks and opportunities early.

  2. 02

    Written quote

A fixed-price, itemised quotation — typically within a week. What we quote is what you pay.

  3. 03

    The build

A named project manager, weekly progress reports and staged payments tied to completed work.

  4. 04

    Handover

A snag walk-through together, then handover with a 12-month workmanship guarantee.

“Sharp, organised and easy to deal with. Merrit priced the job properly, kept us posted at every step, and delivered exactly what was promised — on time and on budget.”
